Gigs in Delhi

9Lives: Let’s just call 9Lives the Hailey Comet of melodic techno that’s a rarity in Delhi’s party circuit. Jaspal Teja’s sound is the ultimate meeting point between the melodic euphoria of Anjunadeep deep house and the gritty shock that Innervisions producers provide in their tracks. And more so, since Auro is home-turf for 9Lives, the best crowd always shows up. It invariably is the party to attend.

Kevin De Vries: Perhaps, the best way to define the sound of Kevin De Vries would be to call him a poor man’s Eric Prydz. That would be high praise for his big euphoric techno sound which can transform any room. And when it’s Delhi’s Kitty Su, a room that’s in dire need for transformation, there can be no better act to completely change that vibe. Catch him on Friday.

Medium Rare with Carl Finlow: If you’re a connoisseur of innovative electronic music then don’t look beyond Medium Rare at Auro with electro legend Carl Finlow who debuts in India with a wonderous live set. Prepare for edgy, cutting edge live electronic music which could have a profound impact on your musical sensibilities. This one is on Saturday.

Prabh Deep album launch: Azadi records phenom Prabh Deep is one of the paragons of a local breed of hip-hop and rap artists. After showcasing his skills as a part of the daily hustle most acts have to go through Prabh Deep cuts through with the King album launch party at Mango, this Sunday.

Gigs outside Delhi NCR

Carl Finlow at Social: Electro fans in Bangalore are in for a treat with Carl Finlow performing at the Kormangla Social on Friday. Be rest assured his sound is innovative and people who really know electronic music will be in for a masterclass.

Kevin De Vries at Kitty Su: This Saturday Kevin De Vries lands in Mumbai’s techno hub, Kitty Su. His bombastic techno will be unleashed at the always pinging nightclub. This could be a devastating cocktail.

A Day of Slick: Hyderabad’s futuristic nightclub Prism will play host to a “Day of sLick” the signature IP of the booking agency featuring a star-studded line up with Kevin De Vries, Moog Conspiracy, Blithe and the signature B2B between Bullzeye and seq3l which makes this possibly the best party of the week. This one is on Sunday.
