Tre Ess x The Mellow Turtle and Ethnica (live): Ranchi based Hip-Hop-Blues-Electronica duo Tre Ess or Sumit Singh Solanki x The Mellow Turtle or Rishabh Lohia are bringing in a new melancholic and aesthetically fluid sound that will definitely leave listeners surprised and asking for more. New Delhi based Drum n Bass duo, Ethnica, comprised of Azaan Khan and Rodali Dutta, are an experimental audio-visual project that is a portal into experiencing the cosmos and everything else that makes us. Catch this nrtya showcase this Thursday, 5 September, at Cafe Turquoise Cottage, Green Park.

Dengue Dengue Dengue (A/V set): Since 2014 Dengue Dengue Dengue have been exploring the link between tribal beats and digital bytes. This Peruvian duo is creating thrilling fusions of traditional rhythms and modern electronics that encompasses sounds like global bass, cumbia digital, tropical bass etc. Their penchant for playing behind neon coloured tribal masks only increases the excitement, making the crowd feel like they’re participating in a psychedelic ritual presided over by a shaman. Go attend this madness at Auro Kitchen and bar on Friday, 6 September.

Ciel (Discwoman/CA): Torontonian Cindy Li’s music and febrile presence oscillates between the hard and soft, light and dark. Find yourself on a dancefloor powered by the adventurous Li and you’ll traverse cerebral techno, exuberant breakbeat, technicoloured electro, and ceiling-threatening jungle in a single set. Her technical finesse and omnivorous tastes as a DJ at the fringe of cutting-edge club culture has been shown off in some of the world’s best venues and we’re lucky to have this talent in our city this Saturday, 7 September, at Auro Kitchen and Bar for a  party hosted by Medium Rare.

BLOT!: Gaurav Malaker’s live electronic music project is one that has become the epitome of the dance culture scene in India. His mastery of a warmer and more emotive sound that straddles techno and deeper side of modern house has taken India’s underground music scene by storm. Coming on the back of his successful live set, debut at the Awakenings stage, BLOT! returns in his DJ avatar at  Cafe Turquoise Cottage, Green park, this Saturday, 7 September.

Bawari Basanti: Mahima Dayal Mathur, professionally known as Bawari Basanti is a Hindustani classical and folk singer, recording artist, photographer and songwriter from New Delhi India. Basanti is best known for her collaboration with notable artists like Akshay Johar (Mojojojo), Zion Train (Neil Perch), SeedheMaut, Sez, Azhar Anwar (Basanti aur Rahza), Vir Singh Brar (Technoloji), and her French band Spicy Frog. She performs at The Piano Man Jazz Club, Humayunpur, on Sunday, 8 September.

Ciel: Ciel is on a four-city tour, she starts in Mumbai where she plays at Khar City Social, on Thursday, 5 September, after which she plays in Echoes, Kolkatta on Friday, 6 September, and then plays her last leg on Sunday, 8 September, in Bangalore at Kitty Ko.

Dengue Dengue Dengue (A/V set): This Peruvian duo start their tour in Delhi and then take the party to Mumbai at Khar Social on Saturday, 7 September and then to Bangalore at Fandom at Gilly’s Redefined on Sunday, 8 September.

Scotticus Finch and Ransom David: Austin-based DJ, Dystopia DnB resident, Scotticus Finch and  Bangalore-based electronic music dj and producer, Random Rave, play at Koramangala Social, Bangalore on Thursday, 5 September.

Oceantied: Ketan Bahirat has been steadily making a mark for himself both internationally as well as in India in the drum and bass scene. From performing at the first Boiler Room session in India to playing at two of the biggest European festivals, Outlook and Dimensions festivals. Celebrating the release of his brand new EP ‘On The Floor’ with an extended set at Bonobo, Mumbai on Friday, 6 September.
