DJ Stingray: Milkman is celebrating two years of mad parties and entertainment. For their sophomore anniversary, they have the majestic and seasoned Electronic producer, DJ Stingray. They shall kick off their celebrations in New Delhi, at Summer House Cafe on Friday, 20 September before they take their party to their home turf in Mumbai and later to Bangalore. This could be the ultimate party to kick off your weekend.

SHFT: warpcore returns to Mango after a scintillating August. This time around we have a star-studded line up of local heroes from the scene. Headlining for this edition of warpcore at Mango Kitchen & Bar is Qilla’s head of A&R, SHFT, who is perhaps the most gifted producer and sound designer in India’s techno circuit. Live electronic acts Curtain Blue and Karajimo come together for the first time to unveil their new techno project, while the prodigiously talented DEF comes down all the way from Jaipur spinning some hypnotic house tunes, while warpcore resident SKNOB kicks off the evening with some mystery and magnetism of deep emotive house music. Catch all these brilliant artists on Friday, 20 September.

Tasha: Wild City returns to Auro Kitchen and Bar as part of their international event series – Various Artists, on Saturday, 21 September. For this edition, they have Tasha, who first made her name as a DJ in the drum & bass community, with her mixes being aired by DJ Flight on BBC 1Xtra. Tasha’s DJing style matches her textured background of her influences weaving tunes together seamlessly from her bass informed home of the UK alongside techno forms born in Berlin and Detroit that creates an accomplished and atmospheric hold on the dancefloor.

4 years of Piano Man: Piano Man in Deer Park, Safdarjung, has become a revered site for jazz aficionados. This year as they celebrate their fourth anniversary, they have amassed a line-up that extends over three days with artists such as performing pianist, Arjun Sagar Gupta (Friday, 20 September), fabulous cover band The Original Knock-Offs (Saturday, 21 September) and eclectic fusion sextet, Bollyjazz (Sunday, 22 September). Their three-day festivities are bound to be plentiful and wholesome in a very musical way, don’t miss this weekend-long extravaganza starting this Friday, 20 September until Sunday, 22, September.

Ten Walls: Marijus Adomaitis better known by his stage name Ten Walls returns to Auro Kitchen & Bar this Thursday. The Lithuanian producer is best known for songs like “Walking with Elephants” and “Italo”, which have become dance floor anthems in the techno circuit. Expect thumping progressive tech and deep house this week.

Heat Sink and Hanita Bhambhri: Heat Sink is an Indie band based in Ahmedabad, being arguably the most diverse and active indie band in Gujarat and have been mentored by maestros and industry titans such as A R Rahman and Clinton Cerejo. Their sound ranges from Jazz to Progressive Rock and entails diverse styles and themes. Hanita Bhambhri has been described by Vogue as one of the 10 female musicians to know in 2019 and touted by Rolling Stone Magazine as the “angsty-soulful pop artist to look out for”. This varied programme has been curated by Skillbox and you can catch these acts at Cafe TC, Green Park, on Thursday, 19 September.

Madboy and Fopchu: MADBOY, the solo Electronic project of Imaad Shah, is based out of Mumbai, India. The Electro-Soul inspired sound and Live show uses elements of high energy dance music and places it in the context of old school Funk and Soul influences. Fopchu is a three-piece electronic band from Delhi. Their sound is a vivacious, loopy ride through time. Sprinkled with twinkle toe-esque vocals, they create a sound that harks back to old soulful blues and jazz of yore. They play at Cafe TC, Green Park, on Friday, 19 September, courtesy Krunk and Skillbox.

Raghav Meattle: Raghav is a singer-songwriter who recently moved to Mumbai to give music that one shot. He was the semifinalist on the second season of ‘The Stage’, an English reality TV show on Vh1 and Colors Infinity and his journey through the show made him realise that he wanted to pursue music full time. With a lot of emphasis on lyrics and melody, ‘simple and catchy’ would be the best way to describe his music. His debut album, ‘Songs From A Matchbox’ is now out on all platforms. SoundTank is hosting its Spotlight event which is a night featuring a line up of singer/songwriters coming forward to play sets showcasing their truest selves. Get serenaded by this songbird at  Foxtrot, Cyberhub on Friday, 20 September. 

Darren Daz Dalton & Martin Roche: Helsinki NIghts and Greygoose present world-renowned ‘Get Down Edits’ duo – Darren Daz Dalton & Martin Roche for a dynamic disco night. Whether you like house or a little bit of soul, disco and funk, the duo are prepared to bring the house down on Friday, 20 September at Whisky Samba,Gurgaon.


Outside Delhi NCR

DJ Stingray: After they kick off their two-year anniversary celebration in Delhi, Milkman will take this party to Mumbai, their base of operations where the party is likely to get even wilder. The mysterious, but magnetic DJ Stingray will then travel to Bangalore to end this three-day celebration. You can catch him playing In Mumbai at The Great Eastern Home, Mumbai on Saturday, 21 September and at Kitty Ko, Bangalore, on Sunday, 22 September.

Matador: Gavin Lynch is a Dublin-born producer whose breath-taking and explosive live shows result in packed crowds and an equally packed touring schedule including key bookings at top clubs and festivals such as Awakenings, Tomorrowland, Sonus Croatia, Ultra, and Output, DC-10, Space Ibiza, Stereo Montreal. Matador is a revolutionary live artist with a shining reputation for versatility, whilst never compromising on quality and he is on a three-city tour— Block 22, Hyderabad on Thursday, 19 September, Kitty Su, Mumbai on Friday, 20 September and Marmoset Beach Festival, Saturday, 21 September.

Plastician: Chris Reed, also known as Plastician (formerly Plasticman), is a DJ / Producer and owner of Terrorhythm Recordings from Thornton Heath in the London Borough of Croydon. His India tour begins in Mumbai at Khar Social on Friday, 20th September. Plastician is a name synonymous with groundbreaking and forward-thinking electronic music. Besides his work as a DJ he is a respected producer, having worked with countless record labels through his career, and working with the likes of Wiley, Snoop Dogg, M.I.A., JME, Skepta and others through his productions. After Mumbai, he plays in Bangalore in Koramangala Social on Saturday, 21 September and then High Spirits Cafe, Pune on Sunday, 22 September.
