Christian Löffler (live):  The one and only Christian Löffler is performing his live set on Thursday, 26 September at Auro Kitchen & Bar as a part of his debut India Tour with support from Hoax. Christian Löffler combines melancholy with euphoria. The extraordinary capacities of this producer have kept eyes closely following the talent, as Löffler’s deep melancholic sound, is absolutely irresistible. He’s a groundbreaking live electronic artist who perhaps is a once in a generation talent. 

Blot!: Gaurav Malakar’s musical genius needs no introduction— his work is synonymous with extremely well-crafted analog sounds that are touching and meaningful. He plays at the newly opened, yet already making waves, The Imperfecto Shor, on Friday, 27 September; with help from another musical genius, Kohra and Delhi Boiler Room, 2019 wavemaker, Zokhuma, for an evening in indulgence in beautiful electronic music.

Oceantied: Oceantied is the solo electronic project started by Until We Last guitarist Ketan Bahirat and is an exploration of Ketan’s electronic music headspace. The past year has been abuzz with news from Oceantied, who has been steadily making a mark for himself both internationally as well as in India. He plays at one of Delhi’s most beloved watering holes, Summer House Cafe on Friday, 27 September. Anushka and Trafficc are on opening duties for what promises to be a spectacular Friday.

Inalab: Inalab is the assimilation of Gaurav Balani’s journey as a bassist/producer for several staggering Indie/Mainstream artists. The idea is to collaborate with as many musicians as possible and release experimental music like never before. Bringing varied artists together and binding their sound with a unique blend of Orchestral/Electronic element. The band plays at Cafe TC, Green Park on Friday, 27 September, for SoundTank, an IP launched in November 2018 by Ownage Entertainment.

When Chai Met Toast: The road to the OnePlus Music Festival begins at Hard Rock Cafe, Gurgaon with When Chai Met Toast. #RoadtoOPMF is a series of shows by some great independent musicians in India. This will take place every weekend at Hard Rock Cafe locations around the country. Their second edition is on Saturday, 28 September with this infectious happy band from Kerala. Entry is free for OnePlus users. 

Arjun Vagale: Widely celebrated as the pioneer of techno in India, Arjun Vagale steers the course of the country’s expanding underground electronic movement. Known for his intense, driven and raw sound, he is one of the most prolific artists to come out of Asia, and as one of India’s most acclaimed DJs, his cutting-edge productions have seen massive global reach. “Asia’s finest Underground Music Export” plays at Auro Kitchen and Bar on Saturday, 28 September with support from burgeoning electronic talent, Modrac.

Algorave: India is striving to create an environment of making code friendly in India—creating music and visuals with open source creative coding tools. They are back in the capital with a workshop and a line up that will definitely get you grooving— SuperContinent, Sba0h0r0, Febby Momma, TimeBlur and Visual Momma— will enthral audiences with their AV sets. This very special event takes place on Saturday, 28 September at Banana House in Chhatatrpur.

Christian Löffler: After playing his debut set in New Delhi, the German electronic/techno producer takes his emotive, melancholic music that feels isolated yet strangely relatable to the rest of the country— he plays at Lilt Mumbai on Friday, 27 September and at GYLT, Bangalore on Saturday, 28 September.

Murthovic: Murthovic is a forward thinking visionary, innovative educator and purveyor of dance music for over two decades. The multi-talented Murthy’s abiding passion has seen him conceive his own celebrated brand of music – a variant of house, techno and bass with influences from his upbringing of hip hop, soul, funk, disco reggae and early 90s crossover electronica music. Catch him at Khar Social, Mumbai on Thursday, 26th September, with support from Bhish. 

Corona Sunsets: Corona Sunsets is back for its second season of shows in Bangalore on the 28th of September at The Blue Bar – Taj West End, featuring Hexer, Praveen Achary x Vinayak^a and Greg Tomaz. Expect acid-infused, 90’s underground Detroit techno from this very well-curated and proficiently skilled line-up.

Shedbug: As one half of Salt Mines and as an extremely dynamic and exciting DJ and producer in his own right, Melbourne-raised and Berlin-based Shedbug is one of electronic music’s most exhilarating young performers.  Expect nothing other than pure passion and originality when the big man sets foot in the booth. Catch him at Bonobo, Mumbai on Friday, 27 September and at Sarajpur Social, Bangalore on Saturday, 28 September.
