DJ-Producer Arjun Vagale has put together a 14-track compilation to raise money for the Hemkunt Foundation

To raise funds for the Hemkunt Foundation, Delhi based electronic artist, Arjun Vagale who is widely celebrated as the pioneer of techno in India, has curated a compilation titled “SOS” consisting of India’s finest music producers, whose sounds stretch across the full spectrum of underground musical genres.

The compilation offers a mix of ambient, experimental, breakbeat, techno and it features unreleased music from 15 musicians – Asymetrik, Ankytrixx, Arjun Vagale, Audio Units, BLOT!, Bhish, Browncoat, DotDat, FUNC, FILM, Kohra, Kollision, Murthovic, Sublime Sound and The Night are the artists who have generously donated their music to this compilation. ‘SOS’ costs €10 only and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Hemkunt Foundation. In a message alongside the album’s page on Bandcamp, ‘SOS’ creator Arjun Vagale wrote: “The idea was to put this project out as soon as possible so we can start generating funds immediately. We need to help NOW! I want to thank all the artists who stepped up and contributed – we put this together in a couple of days – None of this would be possible without your art. Hemkunt Foundation is an NGO doing on-ground COVID-19 relief work and supplying oxygen to critical patients. They have been involved in relief activities since 2010 and have a team of about 150 volunteers, who have arranged for 4,200-odd oxygen cylinders in the last three weeks.
